Colles Fracture
- A distal radius fracture with volar apex angulation and dorsal displacement of the fracture fragment.
- Occurs when one falls on an outstretched hand with the wrist extended and forearm pronated.
- 50% are associated with an ulnar styloid fracture.
- The most common group with this fracture are elderly women.
