Normal breast

 

Activity within breast parenchyma (not fat) should be greater in intensity than bloodpool activity. Not surprisingly, breast activity will be relatively more prominent in young women and post-menopausal women on hormone replacement therapy. Any activity clearly more focal than other breast activity should be considered suspicious.
